Sweet Potato Crisps🍠✨

‘Tis the season for some festive recipes!🎄 These sweet potato crisps are the perfect appetizer to bring to your holiday party this year!!✨ They are super easy to make and your family & friends will be SO impressed! I decided to top mine with goat cheese, candied pecans, and rosemary sprigs! The candied pecans take 5 minutes to make and is a crowd favorite. You all know I love toppings, get creative!

Ingredients:
🍠1 sweet potato (chopped thinly)
olive oil/salt/pepper/garlic powder

Candied Pecans: 🍭🌰
1 c pecan halves (or chopped)
3 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp sea salt
2 tsp water

Toppings:
goat cheese
rosemary sprigs

Steps:
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Coat sweet potato thins with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Spread on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30mins, flipping halfway.

While sweet potatoes are roasting make “candy mixture”🍬. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, cinnamon, & salt. Once mixed, add in water slowly so that mixture sticks together but isn’t runny.

Add pecans to a small pan, & cook over medium high heat, stirring frequently for 2-3 minutes or until fragrant.

Turn heat off & add “candy mixture” stirring constantly until pecans are completely coated. Lay out on foil and let cool until crunchy.
